Job DescriptionJob DescriptionCustomer Service RepresentativePeoplelink Staffing Solutions, in partnership with a well-known and respected manufacturer in the Louisville, KY area, is seeking Customer Service Representatives to work at our client’s new Distribution Center in Louisville, KY. This position provides excellent customer service via phone calls and emails while answering questions about our products.Pay and Shift:
  • Pay: $13 an hour
  • Shifts available:
    • 1st: 8:00am – 4:30pm
    • Little to no OT or weekends
Customer Service Representative Essential Functions:
  • Answers incoming calls and responds to emails and other inquiries from customers.
  • Maintains in-depth understanding of various landscape tools.
  • Provides accurate and detailed information to customers regarding the features, benefits, proper usage, and maintenance of different tools.
  • Troubleshoots customer issues effectively by knowing technical aspects of landscape tools.
  • Displays patience and empathy to understand the challenges faced by customers in the landscaping industry and address their concerns with a customer centric approach.
  • Uses active listening skills to understand customer inquiries and concerns.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development and technical support to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Shares customer feedback and insights with relevant teams for continuous improvement of products and services.
  • Implements effective conflict resolution strategies to turn negative experiences into positive ones.
  • Follows all safety policies and procedures.
  • Attends training classes as required to stay up to date on new landscape tools and industry trends.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
Customer Service Representative Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • At least 3 years of Customer Service experience.
  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM) experience.
  • BPCS experience is a plus.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Ability to work in an office setting within a distribution center five (5) days per week.
  • Bilingual preferred (English and Spanish)
