Job Description:

Position Overview:

We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented CAD Designer with expertise in millwork projects to join our design team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating precise and detailed CAD drawings, collaborating with our design and production teams, and ensuring the successful execution of millwork projects from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop detailed CAD drawings and plans for millwork projects, including cabinetry, custom furniture, fixtures, and architectural millwork.

- Collaborate with architects, interior designers, and other team members to interpret project requirements and design intent.

- Create accurate 2D and 3D CAD models and renderings for presentations and client approvals.

- Prepare shop drawings, material lists, and specifications for millwork fabrication.

- Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards, building codes, and company quality standards.

- Revise and update drawings based on feedback and changes throughout the project lifecycle.

- Coordinate with vendors, fabricators, and contractors to ensure design feasibility and adherence to project timelines.

- Conduct site visits and field measurements as needed to verify dimensions and project conditions.

- Provide technical support and expertise during the installation phase of projects.

Qualifications:

- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Drafting, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.

- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a CAD Designer, with a strong focus on millwork projects.

- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar.

- Strong knowledge of millwork fabrication techniques, materials, and construction methods.

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in creating technical drawings.

- Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

- Knowledge of 3D modeling and rendering software is a plus.

- Familiarity with building codes and industry standards.
