Job Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Coordinator with experience in managing government contracts to join our team in Westcon. The Project Coordinator will play a crucial role in overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of projects, ensuring adherence to contract requirements, timelines, and budgetary constraints.Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Coordinate project activities, resources, to ensure successful project execution.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets, incorporating fleet management considerations.
  • Oversee the maintenance, servicing, and utilization of the company's fleet of vehicles to ensure operational readiness and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Monitor fleet operations, including fuel consumption, mileage, and vehicle inspections, and implement strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Monitor project progress and identify risks and issues, implementing mitigation strategies as necessary.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and internal teams regarding project status, deliverables, fleet logistics, and changes.
  • Facilitate project meetings, including kick-off meetings, status updates, and post-project reviews.
  • Prepare and submit project documentation and reports, ensuring compliance with contract regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Conduct regular audits and quality assurance checks to ensure fleet vehicles meet safety standards and contractual obligations.
  • Support proposal development efforts by providing input on project scope, timelines, resource requirements, and fleet considerations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Project Coordinator or similar role, preferably in a government contracting environment.
  • Familiarity with government contracting regulations, such as FAR, DFARS, and SAM.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management software tools, such as Microsoft Project or Primavera.
  • Knowledge of risk management principles and techniques.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
