Position Overview:


Our Warehouse Team is seeking to hire a Quality Control Auditor with at least 2 years of warehouse coordination experience to join our Rochester branch on our B Shift (1 PM - 9:30 PM).

As an essential business, our warehouse team is continuing to expand to meet the growing demands of our customers. This is a non-supervisory support position, responsible for logging and distributing orders to warehouse order selectors for fulfillment as well as preparing routing paperwork for delivery drivers.

We are looking for high performers who are forward-looking, innovative, enthusiastic, and ambitious team players. Qualified candidates will be motivated self-starters with superb judgment and communication skills, a commitment to excellence and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.


Responsibilities:

  • Audit product on all outbound orders to detect discrepancies and failure to follow Standard Operation Procedures.
  • Development of quality process/procedures and ongoing process improvements.
  • Review, log, and distribute outbound orders, by priority.
  • Package and process daily parcel shipments.
  • Use Microsoft Excel and Word to create Audit Reports for record and retraining purposes.
  • Communicate errors with selectors, retrain and fix prior to shipping.
  • Record and communicate back order information provided by selectors to sales writers.
  • Review customer invoicing paperwork for accuracy.
  • Assist managers/supervisors in collecting and following up on performance evaluations.
  • Lead others in safe work practices.
  • Miscellaneous job-related duties, as assigned.
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of experience in a warehouse administrative role, or equivalent warehouse experience.
  • Must be extremely detail oriented and able to meet strict deadlines.
  • Prior experience with Warehouse Management Systems a plus.
  • Advanced Microsoft office skills, specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Ability to effectively manage and communicate through email on a routine, daily basis.
  • Ability to multitask and handle multiple issues at the same time, without stress.
  • Outstanding organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate to all levels within the warehouse, as well as external departments.
  • Must have reliable daily transportation to branch location.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Product knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, and electrical supplies is highly desired.
  • Knowledge of SHIMS ERP system preferred.

Work Environment/Physical Demands:

  • This job operates in a high traffic warehouse that is exposed to outdoor weather conditions. While mainly standard hours are scheduled for this position, flexibility is required to be able to ensure all orders and job duties are completed by end of shift.
