What you will be doing:

RECRUITING: In support of JYG's Talent Acquisition strategy, responsibilities include sourcing, attracting, and selecting qualified candidates to meet the position fulfillment needs. Responsibilities include:

  • Evaluates applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers and interviewing applicants on a consistent set of qualifications
  • Build strong relationships with candidates, providing them with a positive experience throughout the recruitment journey
  • Utilize applicant tracking systems (ATS) to post openings and communicate with selected hiring managers on candidate reviews and statuses
  • Participate in site visits and maintain professional relationships ongoing relationship with team members
  • Participate in industry related Career Fairs as needed
  • Develops job advertisements and screens resumes/applications.
  • Initiates onboarding plan for new hires.
  • Attracts, evaluates, and refers candidates for open positions through recruiting website, employee referrals, on-site recruiting, search firms and other sourcing methods.
  • Ensures assigned positions are filled efficiently and effectively.
  • Promote Employer Brand to generate interest in the company's vacancies and building a talent pool.
  • Follow up on referrals and promote employee referral programs.

Recruiter Qualifications/Skills:

  • Recruiting and interviewing skills
  • Phone and online meeting platform skills
  • Supports workplace diversity
  • Familiarity with relevant employment Law
  • Professionalism, organization, and project management skills and the ability to quickly make decisions
  • A strong collaborator with exceptional communication skills
  • Previous experience hiring for contracted positions within the Department of Defense
  • 2-4 years exempt and non-exempt recruiting experience in full life-cycle environment, including management of multiple high-volume roles simultaneously
