Accounting Analyst

Basic Function:

A business partner adding value through the use of accounting knowledge and business acumen, while providing analytics and support to make data driven decisions.

Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Manage fixed asset listing and conduct annual audits.
2. Assist in treasury management and bank reconciliations.
3. Month-end and year-end close responsibilities.
4. Serve as a backup to both A/P and A/R functions.
5. Management of utility billing.
6. Aid in the development of budgets and forecasts.
7. Create and deliver ad-hoc analysis to management upon request.
8. Participate in departmental projects and/or improvement activities as needed.
9. Work with the business team to apply and implement accounting policies and procedures.
10. Assist with audit activities.
11. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Required Skills:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required
• General understanding of basic accounting principles
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must have excellent influencing skills, interpersonal skills, analytical and problem-solving skills
