Hours: 8:00 - 5:00 Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week (occasional after-hours clinics and evening client and/or recovery community meetings)

The Behavioral Health Senior Clinical Office Assistant provides administrative support for the Behavioral Health department. The Senior COA establishes safe, honest relationships that honor clear professional boundaries that support self-determination and empowerment among clients.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work as part of integrated/multidisciplinary team
  • Respond to phone calls from clients
  • Convene groups of SUN and RISE clients to participate in program development
  • Schedule client appointments
  • Complete documentation of telephone calls to clients

Education/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. Experience with individuals using substances; pregnancy and parenting; HIV population preferred. Experience in a primary care, integrated setting or lived experience a plus.

License: Valid NC driver's license

  • Must be self-motivated and solve problems independently
  • Ability and willingness to fill in where needed to support the team
  • Possess ability to be non-judgmental while discussing personal and socially sensitive issues with clients
  • Accurately record services rendered and to interpret and explain records
