Job Title: Audio Visual Account Manager

Overview: As an Audio-Visual Account Manager, you will be responsible for generating sales and fostering client relationships within the audio-visual (AV) industry. This role requires a combination of sales skills, technical knowledge of AV equipment, and exceptional communication abilities to effectively convey the benefits of our products and services to potential customers. The ideal candidate is motivated, enthusiastic, and eager to learn about AV technology while achieving sales targets.

Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Generation: Actively prospect, qualify, and close sales leads to achieve revenue targets.
  2. Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients by understanding their needs, providing tailored solutions, and offering excellent customer service.
  3. Product Knowledge: Continuously educate yourself on the features and capabilities of AV equipment and solutions to effectively communicate their value proposition to customers.
  4. Proposal Creation: Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and presentations to clients, highlighting the benefits of our products and services.
  5. Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify new sales opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.
  6. Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team, technical support staff, and other departments to ensure seamless customer experiences and successful project outcomes.
  7. Networking: Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to expand your professional network and promote our brand.
  8. Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline management using CRM software.
  9. Feedback Loop: Provide feedback to management regarding customer preferences, market trends, and product improvements to support strategic decision-making.

Qualifications:

  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.
  2. Sales Experience: While prior sales experience is not mandatory, candidates with a background in sales or customer service will be preferred.
  3. Technical Aptitude: Basic understanding of audio-visual equipment, including projectors, sound systems, displays, and control systems, is beneficial.
  4. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for effectively engaging with clients, presenting solutions, and negotiating deals.
  5. Self-Motivation: Proven ability to work independently, set goals, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
  6. Adaptability: Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies, industry trends, and sales techniques.
  7. Team Player: Strong collaborative skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
  8. Tech Savvy: Comfortable using sales tools, CRM software, and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  9. Customer Focus: Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences and building long-term relationships with clients.
