Folklore Event Rentals is a really rad rental company looking for an energetic, hardworking and self motivated team player to join our Inventory Warehouse Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for tracking incoming tableware, checking in for quality and prep, and separating unrentable items. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

At Folklore, we specialize in providing a unique experience to our clients, with distinctive furniture, table wares, props and so much more for event & wedding rentals. Our clients choose us because they are looking for individualized designs – not your standard rentals.

Type: Part-time (Seasonal)
Schedule: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday - 3 days a week
*Sunday is a MUST

Hours: 8:30AM-5:00PM

Responsibilities:

  • Pull orders for delivery to match the work order
  • Receive and store incoming tableware such as plates, glass cups, tumblers, goblers,water/wine/coctail cups, cutlery and linen napkins.
  • Polish and prep table ware
  • Separating unrentable items for manager to update inventory
  • Memorize hundreds of different types of tableware, cutlery & napkins
  • Conduct regular physical inventories of stock items.
  • Identify and report any discrepancies in inventory levels.
  • Ensure that all items are properly stored in the correct location.
  • Perform regular cycle counts to ensure accuracy of inventory records.
  • Breakdown boxes and empty out trash bins
  • Maintain a clean working environment

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Flexible schedule with open availability
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
  • Dependable
  • Safety Oriented

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Exerting 25-50 lbs. of force occasionally and/or 10 to 20 lbs. of force constantly.
  • Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, standing, walking, and sitting
  • Recurrent climbing, balancing, crouching, kneeling, reaching, and handling
  • The job is performed primarily indoors in warehouse setting
