DIVE DEEPER INTO YOUR DAY-TO-DAY

As our Family Support Coordinator - Social Worker, you will utilize technology, genograms, family research tools, and interviews to trace and connect with relatives and fictive kin. Your role includes enhancing relationships, fostering stability, and ensuring permanency for children and youth while maintaining familial and cultural ties. You will engage extended families early in the permanency planning process, assist with licensing foster families, and build support systems for children in care. By reviewing case files, interviewing stakeholders, and creating connections for youth, you will help achieve reunification, well-being, placement stability, and belonging. Participating in case conferences and team meetings, you will keep detailed records for effective communication with parents, caregivers, service providers, and other contacts. This position offers the chance to significantly impact the lives of vulnerable children and youth, promoting resilience, connections, and a brighter future


WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 21+ years of age
  • 1 year of experience working with children
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with others, both internally and with other organizations
  • Ability to adapt to our agency practice model and CARE principles as well as pass our TCI tests
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Valid driver's license and auto insurance, with the ability to drive independently
