Job Summary:
Acura of Avon is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Service Technician to join our team in Hartford, serving the Canton, Connecticut area. This is a full-time, hourly position in the auto industry, with a competitive compensation package ranging from $21 to $30 per hour. This individual contributor role will be responsible for providing exceptional service and maintenance on Acura vehicles while ensuring customer satisfaction.

- Rotaing Work Schedule 4-40.
- Hourly compensation ranging from $21 to $30 per hour based on experience

Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on Acura vehicles according to manufacturer and dealership specifications
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Provide customers with detailed explanations and recommendations for repairs or services needed
- Keep accurate records of all work performed and parts used
- Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers about vehicle status and timelines
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures while working in the service department

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an automotive service technician
- Acura factory training and certification preferred
- ASE certifications preferred
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Excellent time management and organization abilities
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Able to pass a background check and drug test
