Summary: Manages and supervises the operational and administrative functions, activities and projects of family practice clinic. Manages, plans and coordinates the operations of the clinic to include supervising all clinic staff, billing and collection procedures, monitoring delivery of patient services and acting as a liaison with patients, businesses, and hospitals, by performing the following duties.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Recruits, supervises, and directs employees to ensure the clinic operates in an efficient manner, and that patients receive high-quality customer service.*
- Reviews internal policies and procedures, and updates them in conjunction with the Human Resources Department if necessary.*
- Functions as the clinic liaison with patients, businesses, and hospitals.*
- Monitors delivery of patient services to include: reviewing Physician activity data, as well as forecasting and preparing for all changes needed or impacted by patient load; billing/collection procedures; and government regulations and policies.*
- Completes various special projects, which may require reviewing and analyzing information, identifying problems, recommending solutions, and writing reports.*
- Completes performance reviews for employees at the following employment milestones: 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, 9 months, 1 year, and annually.*
- Hosts regular informational office meetings with all staff members.*
- Schedules employees and monitors weekly hours to promote efficient and cost-effective shifts.*
- Encourages and organizes employee in-services and training.*
- Audits daily cash intake and voids any charges if necessary.*
- Audits employee activities and ensures competency.*
- Answers multi-line telephone system.
- Schedules patient appointments.
- Manages administrative tasks in clinical inbox.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Manage and supervise up to up to 10 employees in the Clinic. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of your clinic. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word; Microsoft Excel; Paylocity payroll system; Microsoft Internet Explorer 7.0 or higher; and AthenaNet EMR software.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree (B. A. / B. S.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Medical Assistant certification or EMT certification preferred but not required.

Salary Range: $50K - $65K annually. Salary is commensurate with experience and education.
Clinic hours are 8 am to 7 pm Monday - Saturday and 8 am to 6 pm on Sundays. Work week is 40 hours.
Payroll is weekly.
Full suite of employee benefits are available on the 1st of the month after 30 days of employment. This includes medical, dental, vision, life, short and long term disability, accident and critical illness policies.
