Strong Experience in Data (Master Data)

JAVA BG and understanding for Code review

Must have Agile experience

Minimum Education and/or Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

At least 8 years experience in designing and developing systems and/or applications in a diverse computing environment with at least 2 years as a senior/lead developer role

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of Master Data and Reference Data solutions and tools such as Reltio.
  • Proficient in programming languages and scripting such as SQL, Java
  • Strong knowledge of databases like Oracle, Peoplesoft
  • Experience working in cloud based (SaaS) solutions
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team to build and integrate systems and applications.
  • Must be able to multitask and manage time effectively.
  • Capable of logical reasoning and analysis in a high pressure environment.
  • Is a team player and collaborates both with internal teams as well as customers

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Preference is onsite 2x a week but would consider Remote
  • Looking for candidate with Data Background
  • specifically Master Data / Reference Data / Data Governance
  • Developer - Not heavy development more code review in SQL and JAVA
  • Expert SQL Skills - Scripting and existing querries
  • Strong Communication Skills
    • Interacting with Customers on issues (Spread or Data not pulling correctly)
  • Strong experience with Agile environment
  • Experience with MDM Tools (Reltio)
  • Not Testing but having a testing background would be helpful
  • Nice to Have: ETL skills candidate will interact with that team - as well as API integrations
  • Team - Sizeable offshore team will be working with them between 8 - 11:30 overlap

Prefer candidate to be onsite 2 days a week in Hanover, MD however
