The Commercial Litigation Attorney will be responsible for handling a diverse caseload of commercial litigation matters, including contract disputes, business torts, intellectual property disputes, employment litigation, and other commercial disputes.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide legal counsel and representation to clients in commercial litigation matters, including contract disputes, business torts, intellectual property disputes, and employment litigation.
  2. Conduct legal research and analysis to develop effective legal strategies and arguments.
  3. Draft and review legal documents, including complaints, answers, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and court filings.
  4. Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, arbitrations, and mediations.
  5. Advocate for clients' interests and rights in legal proceedings, ensuring fair and favorable outcomes.
  6. Conduct discovery, including depositions, document production, and witness interviews.
  7. Collaborate with clients, co-counsel, and expert witnesses to prepare for trial and other legal proceedings.
  8. Negotiate settlements and alternative dispute resolution agreements when appropriate.
  9. Stay current on changes in commercial law statutes, regulations, and legal precedents.
  10. Uphold ethical standards and professional conduct in all aspects of legal practice.

Qualifications:

  1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  2. Admission to the state bar and license to practice law in the jurisdiction.
  3. Minimum of [3] years of experience practicing commercial litigation, with a focus on complex civil litigation matters.
  4. Strong knowledge of commercial law, civil procedure, and litigation strategies.
  5. Excellent analytical, research, and writing skills.
  6. Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
  7. Demonstrated ability to manage a diverse caseload and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  8. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced legal environment.
