We are seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Event Assistant to support our Event Coordinator in planning and executing various events. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills, a passion for event planning, and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Event Planning Support:

    • Assist in the development and implementation of event plans and timelines.
    • Help in the coordination of event logistics, including venue selection, catering, transportation, and accommodations.
    • Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure all event needs are met.

  • Administrative Tasks:

    • Manage event-related correspondence and maintain event databases and records.
    • Prepare and distribute event materials such as invitations, programs, and promotional materials.
    • Handle RSVPs and manage attendee lists.

  • On-site Event Assistance:

    • Provide on-site support during events, including setup, registration, attendee assistance, and breakdown.
    • Ensure events run smoothly by troubleshooting issues as they arise.
    • Coordinate with volunteers and staff to ensure all event duties are fulfilled.

  • Marketing and Promotion:

    • Help promote events through social media, email marketing, and other communication channels.
    • Assist in creating content for event promotion.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and event management software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel as needed.
