We are currently seeking an Clean Transportation Program Assistant to join our Distributed Energy Resources team and support our work in Clean Transportation. The person filling this role will assist consulting staff with administrative and consulting tasks in support of client projects and consulting team activities. Analysts are expected to integrate with program teams and contribute to how Energy Solutions provides value and excellence to its clients. As a Clean Transportation Analyst, you will have a broad impact on the EV market and greenhouse gas reductions through our work for North American Program Administrators and other national leaders in clean transportation. This unique market opportunity, paired with Energy Solutions mission driven approach, creates a perfect environment for an individual who wants to have an active voice in shaping the nation's transportation future.

The initial temporary assignment is for approximately 3-4 months and after this temporary assignment is complete, with strong job performance, you'll have the opportunity to apply for other open positions. The position is for remote work, though if you are close to one of our regional offices (Oakland, CA, Orange, CA, Chicago, IL, Portland, OR, New York, NY, or Boston, MA) you are welcome to come work in the office as many days of the week as you like.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Organization and facilitation of in-person meetings and conference calls
  • Data collection and review
  • Provide professional customer service to program participants over the phone and email
  • Technology research and literature searches
  • Due diligence on program and participant documentation
  • Administrative tasks including, but not limited to; Formatting of proposals and other communications, marketing coordination, application processing, note-taking, and other duties assigned

 Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of Administrative Assistant experience
  • Understanding of Microsoft Office 365 and knowledge of Outlook is essential. SharePoint experience is a plus
  • Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills. Familiarity with task management software is a plus
  • Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability about project focus

Hourly Rate DOE: $21 - $26/Hourly

Compensation is commensurate with experience and includes a generous retirement package. Energy Solutions provides an excellent benefits package including medical, dental and vision insurance, other pre-tax contribution plans and an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP).

Office Locations and a Remote Workforce
