 Verdantas is seeking an Environmental Engineer. This position will be in the Irvine, CA Office.  
 
Responsibilities:
  • Conducting field activities including collecting samples of various environmental media (soil, sediment, groundwater, surface water, and air)
  • Participating in environmental investigation programs including Phase l/ll Environmental Site Assessments
  • Data compilation, reduction, and interpretation
  • Evaluating environmental regulations
  • Preparing environmental reports
  • Contractor liaison/oversight for investigation and remedial programs
  • Problem-solving using standard engineering / scientific methods
  • Assist with coordinating project tasks, implementing fieldwork, participating in remedial design efforts
  • Demonstrate effective analytical, interpretive, and management skills
  • Communicate effectively to team members; both verbally and written forms of communication

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science degree in engineering
  • 0-2 years of relevant experience
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite of products
  • Able to conduct some fieldwork with heavy lifting
  • 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER training a plus
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and personal vehicle
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check
