REGIONAL CRISIS DIRECTOR REQUIREMENTS

  • Master's degree in a clinical field such as psychology, counseling, or social work
  • Possess an LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or LMSW, in the state of Tennessee
  • Valid Tennessee Mandatory Prescreening Agent (MPA) license OR ability to obtain one within 6 months of hire
  • Administrative experience managing a mental health or substance abuse program
  • Knowledge of clinical resources and commitment procedures
  • Ability to maintain documentation, use good judgment, and function in high-pressure situations

Experience in budgeting would be preferred. Knowledge of management information systems would be a plus


YOUR DAY

You're responsible for overseeing and leading crisis centers in our northern region. Your goal is to optimize our processes, improve our strategies, and ensure we provide quality mental health services and support. Leveraging your leadership skills, you oversee all aspects of our crisis intervention efforts and make sure they comply with relevant policies and requirements. You help strengthen our team by recruiting talented new employees, training them, leading monthly meetings, and promoting the use of cutting-edge solutions.

Attentively, you supervise our clinical and administrative efforts on-site and gather data to generate reports about our effectiveness. You make sure we have 24/7 staff coverage so that we're always ready to respond when needed. Motivated to improve, you collaborate with talented professionals and community partners to develop new strategies and build relationships with local hospitals and law enforcement.
