Mariani Enterprises, LLC has an opening for a Full-time IT Support Associate to work in our Wilton, CT location and support our Connecticut businesses (Stamford, Wilton, and Kent).
You will provide technical and administrative support for technologies used by the business. The role will concentrate on the administration and support of IT technology, including but not limited to desktop applications, telephony, networking, line-of-business applications, 3rd party services, and computer hardware. The successful candidate will develop and maintain an adequate knowledge of existing hardware and software in use.
Responsibilities:
* Providing computer/network support relating to software and hardware problems reported by associates and users.
* Appropriately responds to issues in a timely manner and with resolution or course of action.
* Install new software applications or hardware on user endpoints, servers and coordinating assistance from third parties when necessary.
* Configuring new users in Active Directory, Office 365, and various Business Systems.
* Manage mobile device inventory, provisioning, and provide support.
* Maintain an adequate level of knowledge of operating system and application software being used to provide high levels of support to associates.
* Assist in installation of workstations and printers on the network.
* Work with vendors to help resolve technical issues.
* Report all relevant information to the management team.
* Perform miscellaneous related duties and other duties as assigned
* Occasional travel to other locations for project, training, and support purposes.
* Participate in and contribute to Mariani initiatives.
* Assist other team members in the performance of their assignments.
* Develop new ideas that will help the department run more efficiently.
* Participate in other department and business functions as needed (i.e. the snow removal process in emergencies, internal quality audits, holiday retail, administrative support, etc.).
* Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or equivalent work experience
* 1-3 years of experience in a Microsoft Windows end user support environment.
* Demonstrate strong knowledge of IT principles and functions.
* Demonstrate proficiency in performing systems administration.
* Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* Familiarity with Microsoft Windows server and workstations.
* Demonstrate strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with external clients and Mariani associates on a consistent basis.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Ability to work in a team environment, including taking direction and constructive feedback from managers, as well as providing feedback to other team members and managers.
* Demonstrate flexibility to perform duties wherever volume deems it necessary.
* Ability to deliver quality results under tight deadlines.
* Demonstrates a commitment to self development and continuing education.
* Demonstrate accountability for work being performed and completed on schedule.
* Technical certifications are a plus+.
* Familiarity with Network switches and firewalls a plus+.
* Familiarity with Office 365 cloud technologies a plus+.
Responsibilities may require evening and weekend work in response to internal and external client needs and deadlines.
