ENGINEERING CO-OP

INFINIUM Wall Systems is a family-owned turn-key manufacturer of interior Glass Wall Systems headquartered in Strongsville, OH. INFINIUM has the need for a full-time Engineering Co-Op that is conscientious, hardworking, and dedicated to join our team with the following:

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design, development, and implementation of new products, manufacturing processes, equipment, and tools to improve efficiency, quality, and safety.
  • Assist in research and experiments to improve manufacturing processes.
  • Analyze data and make recommendations for process improvements.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and developing solutions for manufacturing issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Production and Sales.
  • Document technical information.
  • Assist in stress analysis on various materials.
  • Assist in implementing continuous improvement and safety activities to streamline production processes and enhance product quality.

Qualifications:

  • Education: attending college for a degree in engineering is required.
  • Experience with CAD software and programming languages a plus.
  • SolidWorks experience a plus.
  • Experience with CNC machines and 3D printers a plus.
  • Finite Element Analysis experience a plus.
  • Strong technical and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and solve problems.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
  • Comfortable working in a shop environment.
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Understanding of basic engineering principles, materials, and some manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data to identify patterns and trends.
  • Ability to identify and solve problems and develop innovative solutions.
  • Ability to identify small details and recognize discrepancies.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
  • Mechanical aptitude with close attention to detail.
  • Creative and forward thinking.
  • Must possess a “can do” attitude and willingness to learn.
