The Opportunity: 

Wize Solutions is a rapidly growing material-handling installation company dedicated to delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget. Our dynamic team is committed to excellence and innovation in the construction industry. As we continue to expand, we are searching for a talented Junior Foreman to join our team and contribute to our success. You will support the management of the job site, the crew, and the customer, ensuring that projects are completed promptly and accurately. 

 

Who You Are: 

  • You are an emerging leader who can assist in managing and training crew members, ensuring they understand their job responsibilities and perform their work safely.
  • You have strong communication skills and can help explain company policies and project plans to your team, ideally in English and Spanish.
  • You are organized and detail-oriented, capable of assisting in tracking materials, managing costs, and ensuring that all project details are accurately followed.
  • You are proactive and can foresee potential issues on the job site, ensuring you have the necessary resources beforehand.
  • You have a high level of customer service, understanding how to help maintain positive relationships with clients and address their needs effectively.

 

What You'll Own: 

  • Project Execution:
    • Assist the Regional Manager or Project Manager in communicating project plans with teams before the project starts.
    • Review project plan sets and help establish an execution plan.
    • Ensure the accuracy of the scope of work and completion of project execution.
    • Track materials to prevent stoppages or shortages.
    • Communicate with the Project Manager and customer as needed, obtaining authorization for additional work as required.
    • Maintain safety standards and manage timelines and timecards for projects.


  • Company Asset Management:
    • Store company tools in a safe and locked location.
    • Assist in assigning and collecting tools daily, ensuring proper use and timely repair of broken tools.
    • Adhere to company policies regarding company vehicles, ensuring proper maintenance and driver safety.
    • Make necessary purchases with company credit cards and promptly submit receipts.


  • Crew and Employee Management:
    • Help train crew members to perform their duties without constant supervision.
    • Assist in delegating responsibilities effectively, ensuring job site operations run smoothly.
    • Manage employee schedules and review and approve timecards.

 

  • Paperwork:
    • Complete and submit receipts, daily reports, signoffs, and employee discipline documentation accurately.

 

  • Customer Relationships:
    • Communicate effectively with customers by providing daily and weekly updates on projects.
    • Maintain a positive company image by being a leader of your team and holding them accountable throughout the project.
  • Technical Aspects:
    • Ensure job accuracy, safety, and employee development through training.
    • Track project progress and meet deadlines.

 

Experience You'll Need: 

  • OSHA 30
  • Bilingual
  • 1-2 years Foreman/Jr. Foreman experience
