The Tax Analyst assists with ensuring that the Company is in proper compliance with all taxes and related reporting requirements applicable in the U.S. and international jurisdictions in which it conducts its business in accordance with legal requirements. This is a hybrid position.

Responsibilities of the position include:

  • Assist with the preparation of the Company’s federal and state income tax returns, and Sales and Use and property tax returns, including analysis, data accumulation and reporting
  • Responsible for maintaining the U.S. related tax accounts and supporting the monthly and quarterly income tax provisions
  • Provide support for accounting/financial reporting related activities
  • Provide initial responses to Federal and State Income tax audits
  • Assist with minimizing income tax burden through research and development of cost-effective tax strategies and special projects

Requirements of the position include:

  • BS degree in Accounting
  • 3+ years of total work experience in corporate tax and accounting compliance; experience with both industry and national accounting firms is strongly preferred
  • CPA is preferred
  • Experience in using corporate tax return preparation and fixed asset software
  • Exceptional skills in managing large amounts of data and creating and maintaining spreadsheet analysis
  • Basic research skills with some technical writing proficiency
  • Strong computer skills to include MS Office (Word and Excel) and tax provision software, such as OneSource
