About the Role:

Are you a skilled pharmacy professional with a knack for operational excellence? Join our team as a Pharmacy Operations Manager In this critical role, you'll oversee all aspects of pharmacy operations, ensuring smooth functioning, compliance, and outstanding patient care delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, implementation, and management of pharmacy operations, including drug distribution, inventory management, and workflow optimization.
  • Collaborate with pharmacy staff to ensure adherence to regulatory standards and organizational policies, promoting patient safety and quality care.
  • Drive process improvements and operational efficiencies to enhance pharmacy services and meet the evolving needs of our patient population.
  • Oversee medication safety initiatives, including error prevention strategies and adverse event reporting processes.
  • Manage staffing, scheduling, and performance evaluation processes to maintain a high-performing pharmacy team.
  • Develop and maintain effective communication channels with key stakeholders, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure seamless coordination of patient care.
  • Serve as a resource and mentor to pharmacy staff, providing guidance and support in resolving operational challenges and implementing best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.
  • Active pharmacist license in the state of Florida.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an acute care hospital pharmacy setting.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Experience with pharmacy automation systems and technology solutions preferred.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards governing pharmacy operations.
