We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented 2nd Shift Material Handler to join our team.
Position Overview:
As a Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the flow of verified orders to the correct designated locations on the Production Floor. Your ability to ensure accuracy and efficiency will help us continue to deliver exceptional products and services to our customers.
Essential Job Functions:
- **Inspect Products:** Verify product quantities and colors of items for order accuracy.
- **Move Orders:** Transfer orders from wooden pallets to plastic ones for production areas or move wooden pallets directly to shipping as necessary.
- **Identify Orders:** Locate and bring verified pallets to the correct Production Floor department.
- **Understand Pull Tickets:** Accurately interpret and act on Pull Tickets (Orders).
- **Coordinate Movements:** Work closely with Warehouse Managers, Clerks, and Forklift Drivers to move products when needed.
- **Maintain Pallet Flow:** Ensure a consistent flow of pallets to the production floor.
- **Use Scanner Devices:** Systematically set orders in the correct location using scanner devices.
Requirements:
- Ability to work in various warehouse conditions, including high heat and cold temperatures.
- Physical ability to lift an average of 40 lbs repetitively.
- High School Diploma preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Commitment to following all safety requirements.
