Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDescriptionWe are seeking a highly organized and motivated Aviation Operations Support Specialist to support various daily operations and project management tasks. This critical role ensures the smooth functioning of our operations, maintenance, and regulatory compliance within our Part 135 aviation services. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities with ease.
Key ResponsibilitiesOperations Daily Tasks:
  • Training Scheduling: Ensure training sessions are scheduled and communicated effectively.
  • Flight Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date flight records.
  • GOM Revisions: Manage revisions to the General Operations Manual (GOM).
  • PRIA/PRD: Handle tasks related to the Pilot Records Improvement Act (PRIA) and Pilot Records Database (PRD).
  • TCO: Oversee Training Center Operations.
  • AFM Subscription Management: Manage Aircraft Flight Manual (AFM) subscriptions.
  • Flight Planning Tools Management: Maintain and update flight planning tools.
  • Drug & Alcohol Testing: Coordinate testing with the HR Specialist.
  • iPad Management: Manage iPads used for operations.
  • TSA Programs (TFSSP/PCSSP): Oversee TSA programs.

Operations Project Management Tasks:
  • New Type Training Program: Develop and implement new type training programs.
  • Onboarding Program Management: Manage the onboarding program for new staff, including maintenance onboarding.

Maintenance Daily Tasks:
  • MX Tech Publication Subscriptions: Manage technical publication subscriptions related to maintenance.

Maintenance Project Management Tasks:
  • AMM Training: Oversee Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM) training programs.

Conformity Daily Tasks:
  • AVL Management: Manage the Aircraft Verification Library (AVL).
  • RII Management: Oversee Required Inspection Items (RII) management.

Conformity Project Management Tasks:
  • Conformity Project Tasks: Manage specific project tasks related to regulatory conformity.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management or related field.
  • Experience in flight operations or management within Part 135 or 91 operations.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with aviation management software such as JetInsight.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to excellence and high standards.
