Pool Attendant

Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and responsible Pool Attendant to oversee the safety and cleanliness of our pool area at Rock Lane Resort and Marina. The Pool Attendant will be responsible for ensuring that all guests adhere to pool rules and regulations, maintaining the pool area and equipment, and providing exceptional customer service to all guests.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor pool area to ensure safety and compliance with rules and regulations
  • Maintain cleanliness of pool area, including restrooms
  • Perform routine maintenance on pool equipment and report any issues to management
  • Provide exceptional customer service to all guests, including answering questions and addressing concerns
  • Enforce pool rules and regulations
  • Assist with pool parties and events as needed

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed

Physical Demands: The Pool Attendant will be required to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds. The Pool Attendant will also be required to perform routine maintenance on pool equipment, which may require bending, stooping, and reaching. Tolerance to changing weather and temperatures is a must.

Work Environment: The Pool Attendant will primarily work outdoors in a pool area environment. The work environment may be noisy and require the Pool Attendant to work in close proximity to others.

Salary: $14 per hour
Status: Full Time/Seasonal
Job Location: Rock Lane Resort
