Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor pool and deck activity to prevent injuries and eliminate hazards
  • Recognize and respond effectively in emergency situations and operate all applicable equipment in a safe manner
  • Clean and maintain the decks and pools, and provide information beneficial to guest satisfaction
  • Perform opening and closing duties, safety checks, and first aid care as needed
  • Communicate effectively with the Guest Engagement Manager and co-workers to maintain a cohesive workplace

Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED or currently enrolled or attending school
  • Certification in shallow water safety skills, first aid, and CPR required
  • Ability to write and follow verbal and written instructions
  • Competency in water, including swimming, diving, and retrieving a ten-pound brick in at least five feet of water
  • Ability to interact and communicate effectively with all guests and other staff
