Graphic Artist/Illustrator 3

Job Summary: The candidate will be responsible for producing high quality 3D assets and graphics.
Essential Job Functions: Responsible for maintaining productions visual style, quality bar, and performance/optimization standards. Compliance with production standards and metadata tagging required for asset re-use. Meeting company expectations through adherence to production, productivity, quality, and customer service criteria.
Required Education
- 6 years of experience working in a real time production (game industry, serious games, simulation for training, etc.), or equivalent production experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent production experience.
Experience:
- Minimum of Eight years of experience working in a real time production (game industry, serious games, simulation for training, etc.), or equivalent production experience.
- Knowledge of the real-time art creation pipeline from concept to engine.
- Skilled in hard surface asset creation.
- Skilled with UV mapping.
- Skilled in generating PBR materials and texture baking.
- Experience with Substance Painter and Photoshop
- Experience in realistically lighting scenes and setting up postprocessing for real-time in Unreal 5 or Unity.
- Experience with a content creation package (ex: Autodesk Maya, Blender, etc.).
- Experience with asset rigging.
- Experience with shader/material graphs in Unreal 5 or Unity.
- Ability to accurately model from photo references and blueprints.
- Knowledge of general animation, motion capture pipelines, cleanup and retargeting.
- Strong grasp of form, scale, proportions, and timing.
- Strong understanding of game engines such as Unreal 5 or Unity.
- Strong aptitude for learning 3D applications.
- Knowledge of source control environments (SVN, Git, Perforce).
- Excellent work ethic, self-motivation, and ability to take constructive feedback.
- Ability to document production processes.
Other Requirements:
Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires U.S. Citizenship status with the ability to obtain a SECRET security clearance. Security Clearance requirements will be specified in the Government's Task Order.
This is an in-office position, and some travel may be required.
