Responsibilities:

• Conduct ultrasound examinations using cutting-edge imaging equipment to produce high-quality images of female reproductive organs, including pelvic and obstetric scans.
• Collaborate closely with our healthcare providers to ensure accurate and timely interpretation of ultrasound findings.
• Stay abreast of advancements in ultrasound techniques and technology related to women's health imaging, maintaining proficiency in these areas.
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout the ultrasound procedure, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
• Maintain meticulous patient records and documentation of procedures performed, adhering strictly to regulatory guidelines and standards.
• Fostering a supportive and collaborative work environment.
• Exercise professional judgment and maintain a compassionate demeanor in all interactions with patients.
• Adhere to all state and federal regulations applicable to sonography, along with internal policies, procedures, and standards of excellence.
• Acquire and accurately document patients’ clinical history.
• Position patients, equipment, and manipulate technical factors to achieve optimal imaging quality.
• Evaluate sonographic images for technical quality, proper annotation, and patient identification, ensuring comprehensive demonstration of relevant anatomy.
• Safeguard patients’ privacy and confidentiality.
• Maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with organizational standards.

Requirements:

• Certification as an Ultrasound Technician, preferably with a specialization in women's health.
• Strong dedication to women's health and a deep understanding of female patients' unique healthcare needs.
• Proficiency in performing a variety of ultrasound examinations related to women's health, including pelvic and obstetric imaging.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with healthcare providers and patients alike.
• Detail-oriented approach to work, with a steadfast commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy and professionalism.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying abreast of best practices in ultrasound imaging and women's health.

• Adherence to established standards of practice for image processing and interpretation.
• Maintenance of cleanliness and organization in the work area and equipment.
• Performance of other duties as necessary to ensure customer satisfaction and quality exams.

Education/Training:

• Graduate of an accredited school of sonography or meets American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS) eligibility guidelines.

Licensure/Certification:
