DAY TO DAY AS A payment services specialist

As a Payment Services Specialist at Greenville Federal Credit Union, you will play a critical role in ensuring all ACH and draft transactions are accurately processed within set deadlines. Your responsibilities will include handling exceptions, outgoing wires, and various forms related to ACH and drafts. You will be tasked with verifying accounts, dealing with non-receipt claims, and collaborating with third-party vendors and the Federal Reserve.

Additionally, your role will involve managing unauthorized items, SWBC payments, ACH originations, and conducting audits. Utilizing your expertise, you will assist in troubleshooting transactions, processing reports, and detecting fraudulent activities to uphold the highest standards of financial security. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR IN A payment Services specialist

To excel as a Payment Services Specialist at Greenville Federal Credit Union, you should possess strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills to ensure accurate processing of ACH and draft transactions. Proficiency in utilizing software and tools related to financial processing is crucial in this role. A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required, with a preference for candidates who have two to five years of experience in the lending or financial industry. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for representing the credit union positively.
