Assistant Cage Manager

As the Assistant Cage Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Casino Cage. You'll assist the Cage Manager in maintaining excellent guest service, managing employee schedules, training and development, and creating procedures. You'll also provide direction and guidance to our dedicated team of employees.
Key Responsibilities (Other Duties May Be Assigned):
- Assist in the operation of Cage transactions during your shift.
- Supervise all Cage staff, ensuring accountability and compliance with all cash handling procedures.
- Oversee planning, assigning, and directing work and documenting concerns and disciplinary actions.
- Emphasize guest service, regulatory compliance, and protecting company assets, including preventing fraud and credit fraud.
- Provide proactive and professional guest service to all Casino patrons.
- Ensure employee compliance with department uniforms, appearance, and grooming standards.
- Assist in ensuring proper staffing levels and minimize overtime when possible.
- Must be able to effectively communicate in English in all manners.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Must have Microsoft Office experience and basic computer skills. Proficient with 10-key.
- Adhere to MGC regulations, Internal Controls, and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Attend all required company training sessions.
- Obtain and maintain a valid Missouri Gaming License.
- Be flexible to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
