Position Summary: The District Manager will be responsible for overseeing the operations of 8-10 locations within the Orlando, Florida region. We are looking for a strategic leader with a strong background in team management, operational excellence, and driving profitability. The District Manager will work closely with location managers to ensure high standards of service, optimize performance, and achieve business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Team Development: Lead and mentor location managers to build high-performing teams. Leverage your military leadership experience to foster a culture of accountability, engagement, and continuous improvement. Conduct regular meetings, performance reviews, and training sessions to support team growth.
  • Operational Excellence: Manage the daily operations of all locations within the district to ensure efficiency, exceptional customer service, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Financial Management: Monitor and analyze district performance metrics, including sales, profitability, expenses, and labor costs. Develop and implement strategies to achieve financial goals, optimizing location-level EBITDA performance.
  • Performance Improvement: Identify opportunities for improvement and implement action plans to address challenges. Ensure all locations meet sales targets, customer satisfaction goals, and operational standards.
  • Compliance and Standards: Ensure all locations comply with company policies, industry regulations, and local laws. Conduct regular audits and inspections to maintain high standards of safety, cleanliness, and service.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Promote a customer-first culture by ensuring all locations deliver outstanding service. Address customer concerns and feedback promptly to maintain high levels of satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute regional strategies that align with company goals. Assist in the planning and execution of marketing initiatives and promotional activities.
  • New Location Openings: Assist in planning, staffing, and launching new locations in the region, ensuring successful operations from day one.
  • Reporting and Communication: Provide regular reports on district performance, challenges, and opportunities to senior management. Maintain open and effective communication across all levels of the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a multi-unit management role, preferably in consumer services, retail, hospitality, or a similar customer-focused industry. Military veterans with relevant leadership experience are highly encouraged to apply.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership skills developed in the military or similar environments, with a proven ability to manage and lead teams, coach, mentor, and resolve conflicts effectively.
  • Financial Acumen: Solid understanding of financial statements, budgeting, and cost management. Experience in driving EBITDA growth and achieving financial targets.
  • Operational Expertise: Demonstrated ability to manage operations, including inventory management, staff scheduling, and customer service.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze performance data, identify trends, and develop effective strategies to improve results.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple priorities, and adapt to changing business needs.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Availability: Willingness to travel regularly within the district and occasionally outside the region.
