Job Description

  • Coordinate and facilitate various interest, skill and aptitude assessments for clients in an orderly and professional manner
  • Ensure client’s reasonable accommodations for completing assessment are being met
  • Gather assessment results and provide to the Certified Rehabilitation Counselor
  • Maintain client's assessments in files and client database
  • Complete case notes on a weekly and as needed basis
  • Ensure classroom is neat, orderly and clean
  • Ensure clients sign-in/out and maintain sign-in sheets
Qualifications

  • Minimum of a Bachelor of Art in Education or Social Service field, three to five years of experience in training, education or career development in the workforce development field or a combination of relevant course work or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to interact with diverse individuals including those in specialized populations, and demonstrate a positive and professional attitude
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
  • Experience in a fast-paced, team environment that is performance driven
  • Exceptional customer service and engagement skills; prefer training or experience in motivational interviewing and care management techniques
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
  • Experience with publicly-funded programs; Temporary Assistance for Needy Families experience preferable
  • Experience in making reasonable accommodations for customers
  • Knowledge of laws and regulatory requirements related to program responsibilities
  • Ability to use various electronic systems to carry out duties and responsibilities
  • Familiarity with online interest, aptitude and vocational assessments are preferred
