Are you a hard-working, process-driven painter searching for a new opportunity at a growing company? You might be a great fit for our team. Our painters perform a variety of tasks such as assembling scaffolding, surface preparation, sanding down old paint, filling in drywall holes, mixing paint colors, and painting homes and businesses. The ideal candidate should be comfortable talking with clients to understand their needs. Ideally, you have experience with a variety of paint surfaces and materials, and are comfortable using hand and power tools to get the job done. If you're ready to get started, apply today

Compensation:

$19 - $28 hourly

Responsibilities:
  • Erect scaffolding when required
  • Use job specifications to mix and match paint and stains
  • Protect trim, floors, fixtures, and furniture from paint using drop cloths and covers
  • Fill holes and cracks with putt, and sand away old paint to prepare surfaces for painting
  • Meet with customers to understand what they want and make suggestions

  • Communicate with clients to determine their needs and advise them on the right approach
  • Coat painted surfaces with primer or sealer

Qualifications:
  • We prefer candidates with 2 years work experience and a completed apprenticeship, but not required
  • Experience with painting tools and techniques is a big plus, but we are willing to train on the job for motivated candidates
  • Physical strength, stamina to stand for long periods of time, and dexterity is required
  • Applicants that are detail-oriented and possess strong time management and communications are preferred
  • Valid driver’s license required

  • You MUST be able to wear a respirator for extended periods of time
  • You MUST have reliable transportation
  • Willing to work nights on occasion
  • Willing to travel
  • Candidates should have strong time management, communication skills, and attention to detail
  • High school diploma or GED preferred

You MUST complete the DISC assessment, otherwise, you will NOT be considered for the position.
