THE SIGNIFICANT HELP THAT YOU PROVIDE

As an Entry-Level Youth Care Worker, you'll be at the frontlines of our human services team, teaching and modeling healthy life skills, social skills, and coping mechanisms. Your role is essential in implementing therapeutic programming that fosters independence and growth. Through educational and recreational activities, you'll create engaging experiences for youth while ensuring a safe and supportive environment. Your dedication will directly impact their well-being and future

As a mentor and role model, you'll learn each individual's history and triggers, anticipating and de-escalating crises with compassion and professionalism. Your documentation will be meticulous, reflecting the care and attention you provide daily


QUALIFICATIONS FOR OUR ENTRY-LEVEL YOUTH CARE WORKER

  • 21+ years old
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to learn the CARE practice model and TCI system as well as apply their principles
  • Valid driver's license and proof of insurance
  • Passion for being a youth mentor and role model

A bachelor's degree in human services or related experience is preferred but not required for this position


WORK SCHEDULE

You'll enjoy the flexibility of our work schedule, which includes full-time, part-time, and call-in shifts covering days, evenings, and nights at our Schippel House location in Salem, IL.
