WHAT YOUR DAY ENTAILS

You'll enjoy a flexible schedule, with full-time, part-time, or call-in options available, including day, evening, or night shifts at our Schippel House location in Salem, IL.

As our entry-level Youth Care Social Worker, you'll teach and model healthy life skills, social skills, and coping mechanisms. You'll implement therapeutic programming under supervision, creating a nurturing environment for personal growth. Through educational and recreational activities, you'll foster learning and fun, using our CARE practice model and Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) system to ensure safety and positive outcomes. Each day, you'll make a difference by understanding each individual's needs, anticipating crises, and providing support. Join us and be part of transforming lives


WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

  • 21+ years old
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to learn the CARE practice model and TCI system as well as apply their principles
  • Valid driver's license and proof of insurance
  • Passion for being a youth mentor and role model

A bachelor's degree in human services or related experience is preferred but not required for this entry-level position
