Job Summary:
As the General Manager of our automotive repair shop, you will play a key role in overseeing the day-to-day operations and ensuring the overall success of the business. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the repair shop, including customer service, staff management, financial performance, and business development. Your leadership and expertise will be instrumental in delivering high-quality service to our customers and maintaining a positive work environment for our team.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee the daily operations of the automotive repair shop, including scheduling, workflow management, and quality control.
2. Ensure exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and maintaining positive relationships with clients.
3. Manage and motivate a team of technicians, service advisors, and administrative staff to achieve performance goals and deliver excellent results.
4. Develop and implement strategies to drive sales, increase profitability, and expand the customer base.
5. Monitor key performance metrics, such as productivity, efficiency, and profitability, and take corrective actions as needed.
6. Maintain compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
7. Manage inventory levels, order parts and supplies, and negotiate vendor contracts to optimize costs and maintain adequate stock levels.
8. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and industry partners to ensure timely access to parts and resources.
9. Stay updated on automotive industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices to remain competitive in the market.
10. Implement and enforce workplace safety protocols to ensure a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Automotive Management, or related field (preferred).
2. Proven experience in automotive repair shop management, with a strong understanding of automotive repair processes and procedures.
3. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve goals.
4. Strong business acumen, with the ability to analyze financial data, develop budgets, and manage expenses.
