What it's like to be a Procedural Registered Nurse - Full Time at Procedural Registered Nurse - Full Time

As a Procedural Registered Nurse at Comprehensive Interventional Care Centers in Flagstaff, you'll be at the forefront of patient care, utilizing your expert ACLS skills to provide conscious sedation and ensure the highest standard of procedural excellence. Your role will involve preparing patients for procedures, administering medications, and offering comprehensive education to both patients and their families. You'll play a pivotal part in the procedural suite, circulating, assisting, and monitoring patients throughout their journey. Handling tissue samples with precision, maintaining IV access, and responding promptly to any contrast reactions will be second nature to you.

Your keen eye for detail will guide you in administering medications as prescribed and making valuable recommendations to physicians, patients, and families. Lastly, orchestrating seamless patient discharge will be a rewarding aspect of your holistic patient-centered approach.

Requirements for this Procedural Registered Nurse - Full Time job

To excel in the role of a Procedural Registered Nurse at Comprehensive Interventional Care Centers in Flagstaff, you must possess a diverse set of essential skills and qualifications. These include graduating from an approved nursing program and holding a valid RN license in the state of practice. Ideally, you should have a minimum of 2 years of critical care or telemetry experience, ensuring a strong foundation in patient care.

Your attention to detail and accuracy in completing tasks, coupled with proficient data entry skills, will be crucial in maintaining meticulous records and reports. The ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment is vital for success in this role. You will need to demonstrate exceptional communication skills, both verbally and in writing, to interact effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.

Prior completion of CME compliance training, along with ACLS certification, is necessary to meet the high standards of patient care and safety upheld by our organization. Ensuring patient privacy and adhering to HIPAA guidelines should be second nature to you, displaying a commitment to confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive information.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

  • Must have successfully graduated from an approved nursing program
  • RN license in the state(s) position is listed for
  • 2+ years critical care or coronary care experience (preferred) or 2+ years of telemetry experience
  • Skill in completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail
  • Skill in data entry with minimal errors
  • Ability to accurately prepare and maintain records

  • Must successfully complete CME compliance training
