Position Summary


The Vice President of Programming and Production is responsible for all aspects of the MegaTV policies and procedures, objectives, and initiatives. Schedules and ensures proper utilization of MegaTV facilities and personnel for production while enhancing operations by establishing metrics to ensure high-quality deliverables.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities


  • Establish metrics, analyze processes, and implement standard methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Oversees development proposals, projects, timelines, resources, and costs.
  • Develop and manage outsourcing budget and vendor relationships.
  • Create functional strategies and specific objectives for MegaTV.
  • Develops budgets/policies/procedures to support functional infrastructure.
  • Responsible for programming performance based on the Nielsen Measurement System for Miami and Puerto Rico.
  • Manages Executive Producers and Talents for all programs and provides direction to improve program performance.
  • Works hand in hand with the Sales Department on creating new ideas and developing segments to achieve and increase ad sales.

Supervisory Responsibilities


  • Supervise MegaTV employees.

Minimum Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience to perform duties.
  • Perform work with strict media deadlines.
  • Knowledge of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures (video techniques, methods, and effects).
  • Wide degree of creativity and latitude.
