Paralegal/Contract or Document Reviewer

Our client, a global company headquartered in Ann Arbor has a newly created full-time opportunity for an experienced Paralegal.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough reviews of legal documents, including contracts, emails, memos, and
    more, to identify crucial information and assess their relevance to ongoing legal matters
  • Utilize analytical skills and legal knowledge to ensure accuracy and compliance with
    established protocols and guidelines
  • Collaborate seamlessly with other legal professionals, such as attorneys, paralegals, and
    litigation support teams, to achieve project objectives
  • Organize and manage reviewed documents using efficient document management systems
  • Perform targeted legal research to support case development and strategy
  • Adhere strictly to client confidentiality and data protection regulations, maintaining the
    highest level of professionalism and ethical standards
  • Analyzing complex legal documents
  • Providing a synopsis of the contract or document to Vice President working on the clients'
    needs

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Certificate from an ABA-approved Paralegal Education Program, an associate or bachelor's
    degree in paralegal studies
  • Understanding of legal concepts, terminology, and procedures
  • Proficiency in legal research, utilizing relevant databases and resources
  • Excellent attention to detail and outstanding analytical skills
  • Familiarity with MS Office Suite, particularly Teams, Word, and Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Prior experience or demonstrated understanding of handling sensitive and confidential
    information
  • Highly organized, reliable, and capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
