JOB TITLE: Inside Sales Representative

FLSA: Exempt

REPORTS TO: Chief Commercial Officer

SUMMARY: The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for identifying pipelines for new business growth, including new markets, new distribution channels, or new products.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Sourcing new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
  • Understanding customer needs and requirements
  • Routing qualified opportunities to the Chief Commercial Officer for further development and closure.
  • Secure new business contractual opportunities
  • Research accounts, identify key players and make outreach.
  • Maintain and expand the company’s database of prospects within your assigned territory.
  • Responsible to represent and describe the company.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proven inside sales experience.
  • Strong phone presence and experience dialing a high volume of calls daily.
  • Strong listening and presentation skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced environment.
  • Extremely proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software with the ability to learn new or updated software.
  • Work may require more than 40 hours per week.
  • Travel will be required.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to sit/stand for most of his/her job duties. There is the need to frequently walk. There will be a moderate amount of standing, stooping, kneeling, bending, lifting and reaching for some of his/her job duties.

Visual requirements include reading off a computer screen as well as printed materials. A high degree of dexterity is required due to frequent use of a telephone and PC.

Verbal and auditory requirements include the ability to communicate clearly over the telephone as well as in person.

There is a moderate level of grasping, lifting, pushing and/or pulling of objects of less than 25 lbs.
