Position: Night/Day Time Security Guard

Work Hours:

  1. Day Shift: Monday to Friday, 1 PM to 5 PM or as required
  2. Night Shift: Saturday and Sunday, 7 PM to 5 AM or as required

Duration: This position is open from June to August, with the potential to become permanent.

Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to company values, vision, and mission.
  • Guide and enforce rules with contractors, owners, and guests.
  • Perform tasks assigned by the manager.
  • Maintain a helpful and courteous demeanor.
  • Keep a detailed daily/nightly activity log.
  • Familiarize yourself with the property and its layout.
  • Handle check-ins, check-outs, and front desk duties.
  • Manage the parking lot, including towing unauthorized vehicles.
  • Report unusual situations with photos and documentation.
  • Update day staff on pending tasks.
  • Patrol the property for regular security checks.
  • Monitor public laundry usage.
  • Check in contractors and enforce rules.
  • Escort pest control personnel and verify their work.
  • Monitor for suspicious activity.
  • Review security footage as needed.
  • Ensure contractors leave work areas clean.
  • Monitor trash compactor usage.
  • Prepare for evictions and call the police if necessary.
  • Check sprinkler operations.
  • Assist with condo inspections.
  • Escort terminated employees off the property.
  • Act as a witness when needed.
  • Close the pool area at 11 PM.
  • Handle situations independently and call the manager if needed.
  • Walk and stand for several hours during the shift.

Abilities:

  • Strong multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Good judgment and ability to follow directions.
  • Creative and able to work under pressure.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English.
  • Quick to act in emergencies.
  • Basic first aid knowledge.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Ability to work well with others.
  • Stay alert during night shifts.
