Mains’l Services is looking for Medical Lead in Vadnais Heights. As the Medical Lead, you will have the opportunity to work with 4 individuals in their home. This position will entail a lot of medical support, including complex medication regiments, feeding tubes, working with a variety of medical devices, checking vital signs, completing personal cares (bathing, grooming, dressing), assisting with range of motion exercises, and lifting/transferring.  Along with that, you will also have the opportunity to hang out, go bowling, and enjoy concerts.

As the Medical Lead you will assist with supporting and training DSP staff on medical aspects of care using team-based management techniques. The Medical Lead will schedule and attend medical appointments, follow through with doctors orders and manage the household operations with medical needs and cares.

Hourly Wage: Starting at $23.00 per hour

Schedule: Full-Time 40 hours, 20 hours set for direct cares, 20 hours flexible. All hours on site.
  • Direct support hours include EOW
Other Job duties include:
  • Supervise and trains on health care needs and arranges for routine health care needs, under limited supervision, using established timelines ensuring the health and well being of the individuals served.
  • Collaborating with the person you work with and your co-workers to problem solve and create a positive and inclusive culture.
  • Clear and accurate documentation
  • Providing assistance or support with activities of daily living in the person’s home and their community based on the needs and preferences of the person you work with.
    • This may include transportation, personal cares, cooking, cleaning, medication administration, support of positive behavior and working through difficult situations in ways that lead to positive outcomes.
  • Supporting others to realize their hopes and dreams.
  • Having fun

Requirements:
  • Experience in medical supports
  • Knowledge of DD through Human Services Program 
  • CNA and TMA certification preferred
  • 3 Years of experience in DD Residential or Day Program Required
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Valid MN Drivers’ license 
  • Reliable transportation with valid insurance coverage 
  • Ability to pass a background check through DHS
