Seminole County Juvenile Drug Court is a diversion program for youth who have been touched by the Juvenile Justice System. Diversion programming provides an opportunity to reroute youth away from the Juvenile Justice System. In this role the Case Manager will work in collaboration with the State Attorney and Circuit 18 Courts to provide wraparound support throughout the substance use programming provided by IMPOWER. Appear in Court as required by the program.



This position is a Part-Time hourly position with a pay range of $18.00 - $20.52 per hour depending on experience and education.


Essential Responsibilities:


  • Conduct pre-screening assessments for potential participants identified by the State Attorney's Office
  • Appear in court as required by the program, working closely with Judge and Attorneys
  • Maintain working knowledge of program details and requirements so that providing information to public, more specifically court personnel, comes with ease, in efforts to solicit referrals from court system.
  • Enter required data into the State Drug Court Case Management System in compliance with the Office of State Courts Administrator (OSCA).
  • Communicate with court designees and officials regarding Drug Court participants within required timeframes to include case opening, compliance and discharge.
  • Complete and submit clinical and auxiliary documentation in all IMPOWER and required external systems within 48 hours of the provided service.
  • Update and maintain the Urinalysis Log of random urinalysis screenings conducted multiple times weekly.
  • Adhere to credentialing requirements as outlined by IMPOWER, funder requirements and the Council on Accreditation. This includes submitting documentation and completing applications for all IMPOWER funders.
  • Follow HIPAA rules and IMPOWER Policies & Procedures regarding confidentiality of client information.
  • Follow state mandated abuse & neglect reporting procedures and IMPOWER Policies & Procedures regarding abuse/neglect of children, disabled individuals, or elderly individuals.
  • Submit Incident Reports for sentinel events, as specified in IMPOWER Policies & Procedures.
  • Maintain a cell phone with a confidential voice mail to be checked on a daily basis. Voice mail must identify your name, agency name, and state to call 9-1-1 as an emergency contact.
  • Conduct random curfew checks for program participants as assigned by Director
  • Check IMPOWER email account a minimum of once daily and respond to any emails within 24 hours.
  • Complete required training courses within designated time frames as identified by the Director and/or Human Resources.
  • Abide by the ethics, policies and procedures, and professional standards of IMPOWER.
  • Complete timesheets daily in Paylocity as specified in IMPOWER Policies and Procedures.



Requirements:

Qualifications, Education, Experience:


  • Bachelors degree in a human services related field
  • 2 years experience working with at risk youth and their families
  • Experience working in a court setting preferable
  • Successful Level II Background Screening and negative drug screen
  • Valid drivers license and auto insurance, and successful motor vehicle driving record background check
