Western Restaurant Supply is looking for a Warehouse/Delivery Associate to join our team at our showroom in Richland, WA. The ideal candidate must have a valid drivers license, clean record, reliable transportation, and sense of drive when it comes to completing detail oriented tasks, taking pride in their work.
The primary requirements/responsibilities for this job include:
- Using a forklift to receive incoming freight
- Checking all incoming freight for damage, and receiving the shipments into our system
- Unboxing/staging equipment for deliveries
- Putting new inventory away on the showroom floor
- Delivering equipment, supplies, and orders to customer locations
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to problem solve
- Assembling equipment, worktables, and other items needed for delivery or showroom presentation
- Planning out and staging customer orders for delivery or will call pick up
- Picking and shipping supplies and/or equipment to customers locations
- Being team player, willing to shift priorities as management requires
- Keeping the shipping/receiving area of the showroom clean and organized, including regularly taking trash and recycle out to dumpsters
- Doing basic cleaning/janitorial and maintenance in the showroom, including using a floor scrubber, cleaning and wiping down equipment
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly without limitations
- Stay neat and organized
- Light janitorial cleaning including bathrooms, break room, and sanitizing showroom areas, emptying all trash cans weekly
The ideal candidate's will have experience with the following:
- Extensive forklift experience
- Good Customer Service
- Attention to Detail
- Staying organized
- Ability to lift heavy objects of 50+ pounds without help
- Ability to sit, stand, and climb when needed without need for assistance
- Basic experience using power tools
- Ability to use a computer, including typing, basic programs. Quick learner at new systems.
Job Type: Full-time
