Job Summary:
- We are in search of an energetic Coding Auditor that will be responsible for ensuring optimum reimbursement based on accurate coding and for maintaining a quality patient clinical database.
- Responsible to ensure the completeness and accuracy of clinical coding.
- Support coding team and adhere to departmental coding guidelines and best practices.
- Address appeals, review denials, and participates in reviews.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- CPC, CCS, and CIC. Credentials must be maintained.
- Computer and data entry skills, thorough understanding of ICD-9-CM, ICD-10-CM, HCPC and CPT-4 classification systems.
- Five (5) years experience as a certified coder (actual coding and abstracting from documentation).
- Two (2) years of previous medical coding experience.
