Lynn Electronics is actively recruiting an energetic, high-potential Copper Assembler Associate to join our growing team. We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented individual with the ability to work well independently and as part of a collaborative team. As an assembler Associate, you will be responsible for assemblies to specifications and quality requirements to prepare cables. This is a full time, first shift position.
Responsibilities of the Assembler Associate Include:
- Prepare, assemble, and test copper cable including stripping, and terminating wires for standard and specialty products using a range of hand tools and other equipment.
- Solder interconnections per IPC-620 standard as required.
- Read, interpret, and follow detailed written work orders.
- Maintain a clean work area.
- Conduct work in compliance with OSHA and company safety procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Desired Experience:
- High School Education or GED
- 1-3+ years related assembling experience in manufacturing
- Hands on experience in assembly of electro -mechanical products, preferably connector or cable assemblies
- Attention to detail
Candidates must be able to read and interpret work instructions in English, possess effective communication skills, and a professional demeanor. You should be punctual and reliable as this is a very important support position. The position requires the ability to lift/move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
