Sunday 9:00 pm – 8:00 am

milkrite | InterPuls is a global leader providing complete milking point solutions to dairy farmers across the world with the aim of improving every farm it touches. milkrite | InterPuls has over 100 years of manufacturing experience in the dairy industry. Our products that we manufacture include over 150 different types of dairy inflations to fit most brands and types of shells, as well as, tubing, claws, filters, and a variety of other products for the dairy parlor.

Job duties for this position includes, but are not limited to:

  • Manage Health & Safety compliance for the shift.
  • Ensure shift compliance to ISO Standards and quality management system.
  • Supervise shift department employees to follow all milkrite | InterPuls policies, procedures, and financial controls.
  • Direct and monitor training needs for new employees, new tasks and or new equipment. Complete all documentation as needed and ensure all training procedures are followed.
  • Work with Operation Manager to recognize and develop potential growth employees to understand working succession plan.
  • Communicate effectively with shift production employees on a regular basis. Work with employees toward a supportive environment and resolve minor grievances.
  • Communicate/escalate daily information, trends and concerns through Tier Communication Process (SQUID).
  • Input accurate data entry to ERP management system.
  • Promote an efficient production environment through continuous improvement tools such as Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Direct and coordinate problem solving and troubleshooting needs for the shift. This can be through department employees, maintenance and or process technicians.
  • Approve and maintain department employees’ hours through attendance and vacation policy as well as electronic approval through ADP.
  • Follow and document all disciplinary measures and policies needed with the support of Human Resources.
  • Track performance of personal goals based on growth and development within the role and company.
  • Track and determine labor hours and overtime hours (when necessary) to meet demand of weekly schedule.
  • Carry out any specific duties assigned by the Leadership Team.

What we are looking for:

  • 2 years minimum in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven ability to handle multiple job tasks in a fast paced changing work environment.
  • Manufacturing supervision experience desirable.
