Warehouse/Delivery Manager

Reports to: Branch Manager

Job Type: Full-time, Monday-Friday with some on-call/overtime required.

Job Description

  • Goal is to Manage Warehouse and Deliveries to ensure customers are provided accurate, quality and timely service.
  • Work with employees in scheduling deliveries and assist them with sales leads, and issues as they arise with product shipments or customer concerns

General Warehouse & Delivery duties are as follows:

  • Deliver product as scheduled/as they arise.
  • Verify all items are loaded/packed securely and double check items for errors.
  • Verify all items match pick ticket when loading, and ensure they are verified and signed off for properly when being delivered.
  • Receive all items either shipped in or delivered in the Warehouse and verify packing slip for vendor ship errors.
  • Work in cooperation with Purchasing Manager and Branch Manager to keep inventory correct and in the correct bin locations.
  • Keep a detailed log for vehicle maintenance and manage repairs approved by Branch Manage as needed.
  • Assist with answering phones, counter help and building maintenance as needed.

Requirements:

  • Must pass drug test
  • Must have clean driving record and current TXDL
  • Must complete and pass background check
  • Customer relations skills a plus
