Job Summary Troubleshooting equipment and programming related problems, while performing immediate repairs. Performing preventative maintenance on the equipment – including controls, filling machines, conveyors, processing, and packaging equipment.  Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • None.
  • Shift: 5:00am-Finish
  • Monday-Saturday
  • Payrate: $30.00-$35.00
Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Diagnosing and performing emergency repairs and adjustments while the line is running efficiently. 
  • Work with production line operators on changeovers and assist operators with daily operational activities.
  • Support the training of operators, technicians, and others at the point of operation.
  • Assemble, install, and test new equipment.
  • Use a variety of power and hand tools to perform job functions. 
  • Modify/fabricate equipment to maintain and improve the production lines. 
  • Efficiently troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems.
  • Schedule and perform routine preventative maintenance and service for each piece of equipment.
  • Participate in clean-inspect-lubricate activities on machines regularly to detect signs of malfunctions, including visual and sound inspections.
  • Carry out routine inspection of production machines for potential malfunctions, identify defective parts and assess maintenance needs. 
  • Generate and complete work orders assigned.
  • Accurately complete electronic/manual records of work performed.
